For the last 12 years I have been a keen amateur astronomer and observer of the heavens, building several telescopes and optical devices. This coupled with a career in education has led to a series of lectures given as part of Bristol and Bath Universities' Adult Education Programmes and various Astronomy societies in the South West (see listing in the BAA handbook)
